Full Abstract:
The Will of Jemima Gawn late of Ligoniel County Antrim Spinster deceased who died 27 November 1876 at same place was proved at Belfast by the oath of James McConnell of Dunadry in said County Farmer the sole Executor.

This is the last Will and Testament of me Jemima Gawn of Ligoniel near Belfast in the County of Antrim made this thirty first day of March in the year of our Lord One thousand eight hundred and seventy six. I hereby revoke all wills by me at any time heretofore made. I appoint Mr. James McConnell of Dunadry, Co. Antrim to be my executor and direct that all my just Debts and Funeral and Testamentary Expenses shall be paid as soon as conveniently may be after my decease. I give and bequeath unto Mr. James McConnell of Dunadry entrusted to him by me for the sole and entire benefit of my son Thomas Gawn, now infant, the sum of Seventy pounds Sterling cash and interest of same now deposited in the Ulster Bank, Waring Street, Belfast to my credit.  I further will that this said sum (£70 plus interest) be appropriated by the said James McConnell for the benefit of my now infant  son Thomas Gawn in the following manner. That this said sum be expended after my decease in weekly, fortnightly or monthly payments as the said James McConnell may best think fit for the proper keeping and maintaince of aforesaid infant  son Thomas Gawn (over). I further will that the aforesaid James McConnell of Dunadry be sole guardian of my infant son Thomas Gawn and that he (my son) be placed for afore mentioned keeping and maintaince how and where as he said Mr. James McConnell may think fit. I further will that in the case of my infant son Thomas Gawn dying before all the above mentioned sum be expended on him that the residue then remaining under such emergency go to my sister Sarah McLarnon if then alive and if not then alive that it go to her two children here specified, Robert McLarnon and Sarah McLarnon equally divided between these two.  In witness whereof I the said Jemima Gawn have to this last Will and Testament subscribed my hand this 31st day of March in the year of our Lord 1876.

Signed by the said Jemima Gawn the Testator in the presence of us present at the same time who at her request in her presence and in the presence of each other have subscribed our names as witnesses.

The last Will and Testament of Jemima Gawn late of Ligoniel in the County of Antrim, Spinster deceased, was proved in common form of law and Probate thereof Granted to James McConnell of Dunadry in the County of Antrim, Farmer the sole executor named in the said will.  He being first sworn.
