April 1905 Mrs Thomas Gawn, of Balclutha, who has been for some weeks at Rotorua, left on Wednesday last from Auckland, on a trip to the Old Country. Mrs Gawn will visit and remain in Perth, West Australia, for a fortnight, where her son is in business, afterwards going in the Himalaya via Colombo and Suez to London. Mrs Gawn expects to be absent for some six months, and the voyage will, we hope, greatly benefit her health.
